I've never been a blogger before, this is new and exciting stuff.
I've also never been a GSR before, and that's new and exciting and got me a little login over here so I can keep not only my home group updated, but whoever happens to pop on over here.
I just got back from the 3 day area assembly in Flagstaff. Lots of good stuff going on. There were 197 total registered attendees. We heard reports from all area officers and coordinators. Service opportunities are out there waiting to be filled. They need people to bring AA meetings into jails. The Bridge The Gap (BTG) program is really getting busy and they'd love some help as well. There is also an alternate web servant position opened (to help with the area website) that requires website knowledge and 4 yrs of sobriety.
If you have any interest in service work, please contact me and I'll get you going in the right direction. My words cannot describe how valuable service work is, but maybe these words will:
